Reception held at Kleinhans

Mr. and Mrs. David R. Wert

Carrie Lynn Geise married David Richard Wert on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 in a noon ceremony at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cheektowaga. The Revs. Ronald Haefer and Leon Biernat officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Esther and Thomas Geise of Wilson. The groom is the son of Carol Wert of Williamsville and Paul Wert of Niagara Falls.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory strapless gown covered with lace. Her veil featured beading and lace. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

The maid of honor was Kristina Geise, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Colleen Coggins, Emily McCourt, Autumn Melnick, Julie O'Connor and Kristin Weir, friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Aubrie Strauch, cousin of the bride, and Emily, Lauren and Katherine Bauer, friends of the family.

The best men were Brian Wert, brother of the groom, and John Kapsiak, a family friend. The ushers were Robert Bucelli, John Gangemi, Michael Klinko, Robert Palgutt and Timothy White, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Stephen Geise, nephew of the bride.

A reception was held in the Mary Seaton Room of Kleinhans Music Hall. The couple will honeymoon in Venice Beach, Fla.
