Nuptials celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena

Danielle Scherr married Thomas Ohl on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Seneca. The Rev. Joseph Rogliano, Rev. Pascal Ipilito and Deacon Thomas Scherr, father of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Thomas Scherr of West Seneca. The groom is the son of Alice and Joseph Ohl of West Seneca.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Her gown was made and designed in Barcelona, Spain.

The maid of honor was Danielle Slentz, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Alexandra Bersani, cousin of the bride, and Jennifer Snyder, Betsy Amico, Joan Kelly, Katie Vingoe and Brianna Coolidge, friends of the bride.

The flower girl was Brigid Ohl, goddaughter of the groom.

The best man was Peter Ohl, twin brother of the groom. The ushers were Dan, Joe and Michael Ohl, brothers of the groom; Chris and Matt Scherr, brothers of the bride; and Tim Reukauf, Jon-e Schwandt and Topher Holt, friends of the groom. Junior ushers were Mason Parker, godson of the groom, and Ryan Heick, godson of the bride.

The ring bearer was Gabriel Heick, godson of the bride.

A reception was held in Asbury Hall, The Church, Buffalo.

The couple will honeymoon on the Mayan Riviera, Mexico.
