Pair wed in Bahamas

Mr. and Mrs. Adrian F. Evans

Felicia H. Walker married Adrian F. Evans in a late afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 at a beach on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The Rev. Melvin Grant officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Walker of Buffalo and the late Otis Walker. The groom is the son of the late Jean and Odell Evans.

The bride was escorted by her uncle, Ernest McNealy.

She wore a beaded-lace sheath gown with an empire neckline and a sweep train. Her fingertip veil featured pearl accents. She also wore a pearled tiara with rhinestone flowers.

The maid of honor was Angela Walker, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were TaVonni Washington, daughter of the bride, and Dominque Evans, daughter of the groom.

The flower girl was Nyasha Green, niece of the bride.

The best men were Oscar James and Jade Shields, the groom's friends. The groomsman was Xavier Evans, son of the groom.

JaiQuan Munn, the bride's nephew, was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at Paradise Harbourview Restaurant on Paradise Island. The couple will honeymoon in the Bahamas and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
