Bride wears heirloom gown

Mr. and Mrs. Zachary M. Taggart

Caroline Anderson Whalen married Zachary Mac Taggart in an evening ceremony on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Beaver Hollow Conference Center, Java, N.Y. Kris Lotlikar, a friend of the couple, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah Anderson Whalen of East Aurora and Patrick Whalen of Amherst. The groom is the son of Berit and Thomas Taggart of South Wales, N.Y.

The bride wore the blush pink silk organza gown of her maternal grandmother, who was married in 1952.

A reception was held at Beaver Hollow Conference Center Pavilion.

The couple toured Canada's Maritime Provinces and Maine on their honeymoon.
