Students awarded high school scholarships

St. Leo the Great School in Amherst had several of its students win high school scholarships. The following 2007 graduates of St. Leo were awarded:

Joseph Adinolfi- St. Francis Xavier Quarter Scholarship; Isusan Brar - Sacred Heart Academy; Sarah Broxup - Holy Angels Academy; Zachary Derrico - St. Joseph Collegiate Institute Signum Sidei Scholarship; Megan Kelly - Mount St. Mary's Academic Excellence Scholarship; Catherine Maier - Sacred Heart Academy; Shauna Murphy - Mount St. Mary's Scholastic Achievement Scholarship.

Also, the following eighth graders were presented with awards at graduation:

Wilma Rizzo Award - Mary Kate Benzinger and Megan Kelly; Triple C Award - Megan Kelly and Joseph Adinolfi; Principal's Award - Eric Knox and Sarah Broxup; Christian Service Award - Matthew Kondziela and Michael Segelhurst; Knights of Columbus Award: Shauna Murphy and Lea Anderson; American Citizenship Award - Zachary Kamieniarz and Brianna Cavanaugh; President's Award - Catherine Maier and Zachary Derrico; Spirit of St. Leo's Award - Elise Siegler and Isusan Brar; Dorothy Codd Award - Joseph Adinolfiand Mary Kate Benzinger.
