Williamsville high schools set orientations

The three Williamsville high schools have provided the following information for students and their parents regarding services available this summer in preparation for the school year ahead:

New student registration

• New student registration is available by appointment at each of the high schools. Please call the school guidance office at the following numbers:

- East High School, 151 Paradise Road: 626-8412

- North High School, 1595 Hopkins Road: 626-8506

- South High School, 5950 Main St.: 626-8210

Schedule changes

• Class/schedule corrections at North High will take place as follows:

Seniors: Tuesday, Aug. 21, 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; juniors: Wednesday, Aug. 22, 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; sophomores: Wednesday, Aug. 22, 1 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.; and freshmen: Thursday, Aug. 23, 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

At South High School, schedule changes will take place by appointment, as follows: Monday, Aug. 20: student last names, L - Z and Wednesday, Aug. 22: student last names, A - K.

At East High School, schedule changes will be done by appointment only; students are asked to call the guidance office.

New student orientation

• New student orientation programs for incoming freshmen and new students will be held as follows:

• North High School - Monday, Aug. 27, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• East High School - Wednesday, Aug. 29, welcome program for new students and parents, 7 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.

• South High School - Thursday, Aug. 30, 9:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

The North High Career Center is available for parent and student use during the summer. Please call 626-8506 or 626-8544 to make an appointment.
