The Canisius College Center for Professional Development will offer an insurance course on property and liability insurance principles beginning in the fall. Peter A. Sayadoff, director of finance for Uniland Development Company in Amherst, has been named Senior Citizen of the Year by the Boy Scouts of Amherst, Greater Niagara Frontier Council. A board member since 1992, he was honored for his dedication to the organization in several capacities.

The Society of Financial Service Professionals, Buffalo Chapter, has elected officers for the 2007-08 term: President Robert F. The Skinnersville Cemetery Association, Inc. will hold its annual lot owners/trustee meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 in the White Chapel on the cemetery grounds, 490 Frontier Road, off John James Audubon Parkway, near the University at Buffalo's north campus.
