Moonlight Run slated for August 15

The 21st annual Moonlight Run & Wellness Walk will be held at 8 p.m. on Wed., Aug. 15.

The run/walk course will be the same as in prior years (beginning on Glen Ave. at Cayuga). Race registration and the postrace party will be held at Island Park, located behind Amherst Town Hall.

This year's race will use "chip-timing" to ensure that results are available as quickly and accurately as possible.

Gold's Gym will be the main sponsor of the race. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be the designated charity.

A Kids Fitness & Fun Event, open to kids of all ages and free of charge, will be held at 6:30 p.m.
