Karin Crumb of Williamsville has been named employee of the month for July at Niagara University. She is a facility designer/ drafter in facility services, and was recognized for working cooperatively with all constituents on campus. Also, for being knowledgeable, creative and enthusiastic about her work.
Ryan K. Micklus of Amherst has been named an associate in Damon & Morey LLPs Business and Corporate Department. While attending University at Buffalo School of Law, he was the Electronics Systems editor for the Buffalo Law Review and a Clerk for the Buffalo Intellectual Property Journal.
Megan Sellick, a native of Amherst, has been named assistant director of residence life for King's College, located in Wilkes Barre, Pa. She will assist in the planning, directing and controlling of the daily functions of residential housing. She had worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Residence Education at the University of Dayton.
John P. DePaolo of Williamsville has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board of trustees at St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo, which is more than 150 years old. He is a trial attorney with the Bouvier Partnership.

Dr. Daniel R. Wild, an orthopedic surgeon, has joined Buffalo Medical Group, PC. The group, which has an office in Williamsville, will resume its orthopedic surgery service after an interruption of 10 years. In private practice for the last 26 years, he is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
David S. Preneta has been named project architect at Lauer-Manguso & Associates Architects, located in Amherst. He has 15 years experience and is a Member of American Institute of Architects and a volunteer for the Darwin Martin House Restoration Corp.
