Philanthropist named to Roswell board of directors

With a commitment to service, Linda A. Dobmeier of Williamsville has been appointed to a three-year term as a member of the board of directors of Roswell Park Cancer Institute Corporation.

Her appointment was announced by Assembly Majority Leader James Tedisco, R-Schenectady.

She is vice president of Dobmeier Janitor Supply, Inc., located in Buffalo, and a former teacher in the Grand Island School District.

Dobmeier is a member of numerous philanthropic and community organizations, including the Amherst Police Foundation, Brothers of Mercy Campus Foundation, Buffalo State College Foundation, FBI Foundation and Niagara Lutheran Home Foundation.

She was Zontian of the Year as member of the Zonta Club of Amherst. She also is a member of the Seton Guild and the 100 Club of Buffalo.
