Pair renew vows

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Notaro

Matilda and Joseph Notaro of Williamsville commemorated their 60th wedding anniversary during a family celebration given by their children at St. Mary's Church, where the couple renewed their vows.

Joseph Notaro married the former Matilda Mastrocovo on Aug. 9, 1947, at St. Lucy Church, Buffalo.

Joseph is retired from the Erie County Sheriff's Department, and Matilda is retired from Rosa Coplan Jewish Home.

The couple has four children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
