Nancy and Francis Kurek of Depew announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Lindsay Ann Kurek, to Christopher H. Clayton, son of Patty and Lynn Clayton of Wayland, N.Y.

Miss Kurek graduated from Cheektowaga Central High School in 1999. She graduated from Geneseo State College in 2003 and received a doctorate degree in communicative disorders from the University at Buffalo in 2007. She is a doctor of audiology and a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

Her fiance graduated from Wayland Central High School in 2002. He received a degree in technology education from Buffalo State College. He is a teacher. A September 2008 wedding is planned.
