Bride carries orchids

Nicole Ann Hilbrecht married David Schyler Edwards in a late afternoon ceremony Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Cleveland Heights Christian Church, Cheektowaga. The Rev. Dr. Arthur Davis officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ann F. and Mark D. Hilbrecht of Depew. The groom is the son of Adriana Edwards of Alden and Vincent Edwards of Temecula, Calif.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a strapless A-line gown with all-over beaded, corded lace, a satin sash fastened with a crystal brooch at the waist and a chapel-length train. Her tiara with pearls and rhinestones complimented her corded, elbow-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white cymbidium orchids.
The maid of honor was Susan Bologna, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Stacey Willard, cousin of the bride; Katie Donahue, aunt of the groom; and Rachael Berube, Kimberly Powell, Heather O'Donnell and Robin Damude, friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Ali Bologna, daughter of a friend of the bride.
The flower girl was Victoria Powell, friend of the bride and groom. The junior flower girls were Melody Grace Edwards, daughter of the bride and groom, and Madison Dwyer, friend of the bride.
The best man was Eddie Farah, who served with the groom in the U.S. Army in Iraq. The ushers were Keith Kotlowski, Darren Wojicki, Edwin Coons, Jim Sharratt, Kory Higgs, Wayne Kubiak and Jason Martinelli, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was Jamison Powell, friend of the bride and groom. A reception was held at Beginnings by Kiebzak's, Sloan. The couple honeymooned at Walt Disney World.
