Nuptials held at St. Paul's

Marisa Sue Wilczynski married Michael James Kanick in an afternoon ceremony Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Blossom. The Rev. Carol Lankes and the Rev. James Pollard and the Rev. Richard Caldwell, the bride's uncles, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Janet and John Wilczynski of West Seneca. The groom is the son of Jean Kanick of Amherst and Mike Kanick of Cheektowaga.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore an ivory strapless gown with organza overlay accented with champagne trim and sash. Her veil had crystal and pearl accents with champagne trim. She carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangea, orchids, pale pink and ivory Anna roses, mini calla lilies and pink wax flowers.
Lindsay Wilczynski was maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Sara Greco and Jeanne McFarland, friends of the bride.
The flower girl was Jordan Kanick, niece of the groom.
Joseph Riedy, friend of the groom, was best man. The ushers were Paul and Joel Kanick, brothers of the groom.
The ring bearer was Christopher Kanick, nephew of the groom.
A reception was held in Romanello's South, Hamburg.
The couple will be at home in Lakeview after honeymooning in Aruba.
