Small business owners and directors of nonprofit organizations will learn how to increase the impact of their marketing programs during a new series of workshops by the advertising, PR and marketing firm, Exubrio Group LLC. The workshops will help participants develop and improve their marketing skills while demonstrating how they can control or reduce expenses associated with marketing and sales activities. SCORE of Buffalo-Niagara will hold a seminar on running a home-based business from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at the SCORE Conference Center of Buffalo and Erie County Library located at Lafayette Square in Buffalo. The second session covers details on managing a business from your home, IRS regulations governing use of space for business, local ordinances and a host of other information.

Bills host taste

of the season

From 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, the Buffalo Bills will host "Taste of the Season" at the Jim Kelly Club located at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Food Bank of Western New York. This high-end networking reception brings together the corporate community, local fine restaurants, and the entire roster of Buffalo Bills players and coaches.
