Bride carries grandmother's handkerchief

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wild

Michelle Henry married Thomas Wild in an afternoon ceremony Saturday, July 28, 2007 at St. Benedict's Church, Eggertsville. The Rev. Dr. Joseph Porpiglia officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and Frank Henry of Getzville. The groom is the son of Anne and Joseph Wild of Grand Island.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white satin gown with a beaded bodice and A-line skirt. The detachable train was accented with re-embroidered beaded lace. The bride carried a bouquet of pink and white roses with stephanotis. She carried a handkerchief that her grandmother had carried at her wedding.

The maid of honor was Amanda Shisler, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Toni Soliday, Julie Biebel and Angela Altier, friends of the bride.

The best man was Jason Wild, brother of the groom. The ushers were Joseph Wild Jr. and Justin Wild, brothers of the groom, and Chris Szachta, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery, Buffalo.

The couple took an Eastern Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon.
