CATCHING SOME WAVES - Jennifer Hettler of Snyder qualified for the 2007 RockStar World Wakeboard Association World Wakeboard Championships presented by Supra. The event will be held Aug. 23-26 at Sparks Marina in Sparks, Nev. Hettler, an Amherst Central High School grad, will be competing in the Pro Women Wakeskate division. She recently placed sixth in Pro Women's Wakeskate at WWA Nationals on June 20-24 in Kenosha, Wis. She grew up wakeboarding on Silver Lake in Wyoming County and has been wakeskating professionally for almost two years.
