Gary A. Kelso, 53, of Amherst, a laborer for Arbor Tech Tree Service for the past seven years, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007.

Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Kensington High School. He served in the U.S. Army in 1973.

Mr. Kelso worked for more than 30 years in the tree service business, many with Weimer Tree Service.

He enjoyed basketball, bowling and was an avid New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

Mr. Kelso is survived by a daughter, Erin, of Pavilion, N.Y.; and two sisters, Mary Battista and Susie Cracchiola. Services were held Monday, July 23 from (Amherst Chapel) Amigone Funeral Home.
