TOP CHEF - The Pizza Plant's Create-A-Pod contest winner was named on July 18 at the Transit Road location. Emma Horvath, 16, of Clarence, right, placed first with her Violent Vegetarian Pod, which will not be featured on the restaurant's menu. A vegetarian her entire life, Horvath celebrated her win with her mother Beth, Dan Syracuse and Robert Syracuse, president of Pizza Plant. Among the prizes for the first-place winner was a gift basket from Latina Foods and a free night at the Hampton Inn.
