Magical celebration set for summer theater camp

Rob Allen will bring his classic magic show to the Children's Summer Theater Camp at Eastern Hills Mall on Saturday, July 28.

Mall officials described the show as "an enthusiastic exploration of traditional magic, including the colorful manipulated silks, the secrets of the 'rabbit in the hat' and the mystery of the magic contained in the utterance of 'abracadabra.'"

The event is free of charge to all who attend, and children 12 and younger will receive a free gift and a coupon entitling them to lunch anywhere in the food court for just $1 on the day of the performance.

Allen will perform two shows, at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., in the Center Court area of the mall. Mall officials recommend that families arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time to receive their free gift and $1 lunch coupon.
