Lebanese festival set

St. John Maron Church will present the Lebanese Festival from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, July 27; from 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 28; and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday July 29 at the church, 2040 Wehrle Drive, Williamsville.

Continuous Lebanese music will be provided by The Stars of the East with ongoing Dabky performances by the St. John Maron Dance Troupe.

Authentic Lebanese cuisine will include falafel, hummos, Lebanese rice, za'atar, tabbouleh, shish kabob, shish tawook, spinach pies and Lebanese sweets. Hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream will also be available.

Also featured will be the Lebanese Cafe tent, which will serve espresso, white coffee and the annual backgammon tournament and gift shop.

Children's attractions will include a bounce house, golf challenge, basketball hoops and face painting.

Games of chance and pull-tab games will be available for the adults, as well as a raffle with items such as wine, beauty and health baskets, gift certificates and golf packages.
