Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital's laboratory receives accreditation

Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital's nuclear cardiology laboratory has been granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories.

It is the only hospital-based lab in Western New York to have received this accreditation and one of the first in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to be so recognized. Accreditation signifies that Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital has been reviewed by an independent agency that recognizes the laboratory's commitment to quality testing for the diagnosis of heart disease.

"We are thrilled that the high-quality services we provide here at Suburban are recognized by a national organization of the caliber of ICANL," said Dawn Taylor, director of cardiopulmonary and imaging services at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
