UB Alumni Association president named

Marc A. Adler of Williamsville, who earned three degrees from the University at Buffalo, has been elected president of the UB Alumni Association. The term is for two years.

Adler, a partner for Flynn and Friends, a marketing communication firm in Buffalo, received a bachelor's degree in geography in 1979, a master's degree in geography in 1983 and a master of business administration degree from the UB School of Management in 1982.

East Amherst resident Thomas A. Palmer, a partner and vice chairman for Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, was named an officer and will chair the audit committee.

Residents elected to the board of directors were Mary E. Dunn of East Amherst, a pediatric dentist for Pediatric Dental Care, P.C., and Jay R. Friedman of Amherst, UB assistant director of conferences and special events.

The UB Alumni Association is a volunteer-led international organization that provides ongoing service to alumni and a focus of alumni support for, and service to, UB.
