Children host parents' 50th anniversar y

Rev. and Mrs. Robert Jones

Helen and the Rev. Robert Jones of Williamsville celebrated their 50th anniversary with family and friends at a luncheon hosted by their children on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Protocol Restaurant, Williamsville.

Rev. Robert Jones married the former Helen Webster on July 20, 1957 in the York Baptist Church, York, N.Y.

Rev. Jones retired as pastor of Williamsville United Methodist Church in 1999 after pastoring parishes in Western New York for 40 years. Helen is a former elementary education teacher and was employed at Quality Market in Williamsville at retirement.

The couple have three children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
