Couple honeymoon in Europe

Mr. and Mrs. John G. Oates

Diane Julia Kondor married John Gabriel Oates on April 28, 2007 in an afternoon ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Columbus, Ohio. The Rev. Ron Atwood officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Ann and William Kondor Jr. of Amherst. The groom is the son of Margaret and Thomas Oates of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a strapless silk taffeta A-line gown with a chapel-length train detailed with Chantilly lace. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, lilies, roses and stephanotis.

The maid of honor was Brooke Harris, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kelly O'Keefe, Chanda Yarborough, Katie Hosmer and Jennifer Pricola, all friends of the bride.

The best man was Nathan Oates, brother of the groom. The ushers were Tom and Brendan Oates, brothers of the groom, and Tom King and Randy James, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus. The couple honeymooned in Barcelona, Spain and Tuscany, Italy. They reside in Columbus.
