Two united in afternoon ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Brian G. Lowe

Debra Jo Sellan Jr. married Brian Grant Lowe in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Akron. Monsignor Robert Williamson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Debra Jo and Angelo D. Sellan Sr. of Corfu. The groom is the son of Judy Conable of Caledonia, N.Y., and Robert Lowe of Geneseo.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory silk taffeta strapless gown featuring crystal and pewter beading and handmade rosettes. She carried a cascading bouquet of calla lilies and light pink mini roses.

Andrea Sellan was maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Mary Christa and Elizabeth Sellan, sisters-in-law of the bride; Karen Adams, sister of the groom; and Jenny Seitter, Nicole Miano and Kate Amidon, all friends of the bride.

The flower girl was Julia Tripi, cousin of the bride.

Mark Duthe and Douglas Croft, friends of the groom, were best men. The ushers were David and Angelo Sellan Jr., brothers of the bride; and Keith Jennings, Nick Rhodin and Scott Solomon, all friends of the groom. Frank Bodami Jr., cousin of the bride, was a junior usher.

The ring bearer was Anthony Bodami Jr., cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor, Clarence.

After a honeymoon at Sandals Resort in St. Lucia, the couple are residing in Tonawanda.
