Couple honeymoon in the Poconos

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gomez

Kristen DeCarlo married Anthony Gomez in an evening ceremony on Friday, July 20, 2007 in St. Gregory the Great Church, Williamsville. The Rev. Joseph Gotto officiated.

The bride is the daughter of MaryAnn and Frank DeCarlo of Williamsville. The groom is the son of Diane Scherrer of Buffalo and Raul Gomez of Corona, Calif.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Her halter-style gown featured a silver flower decoration at the neckline, lower skirt and back. She wore a two-layer, silver-edged veil and carried a bouquet of light and dark pink roses.

Michelle DeCarlo was the maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Cynthia Buseck and Olivia Rutkowski, cousins of the bride.

Christopher Gomez was best man for his brother. Matthew Scherrer, stepbrother of the groom, was the usher. The ring bearer was Donoven Gomez, nephew of the groom.

A reception was held in Classics V, Amherst.

The couple will be at home in Orlando, Fla., after honeymooning in the Pocono Mountains.
