Michelle J. Scott and Christopher Mackes

Monika and James W. Scott of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Jean Scott, to Christopher Mackes, son of Melanie and Michael Mackes of East Amherst.

Miss Scott is a 1999 graduate of Williamsville North High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Canisius College in 2003. She is a bank branch manager.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Williamsville North High School. He received a degree in sociology from the University at Buffalo in 2003. He is a U.S. border patrol agent for the Department of Homeland Security.

A September 2007 wedding is planned.
