Groom's baby bonnet made part of bouquet

Andrea VerHague married David Grieco in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 7, 2007 in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Buffalo. The ceremony was the last Mass held at the church. The Rev. Richard Poblocki officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ivette Barnes of Bolivar, N.Y., and Peter VerHague of Tonawanda. The groom is the son of Marcia and John Grieco of Buffalo.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She carried a bouquet of cascading Oriental lilies with one white rose symbolizing her deceased godfather. The handle of the bouquet was wrapped with the groom's baby bonnet, which became a wedding hanky.
The maid of honor was Kara Slowinski, cousin of the groom and friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Alexis VerHague and Adine Woolcott, sisters of the bride; Elaine Connelly, aunt of the bride; and Beth Buscaglia, friend of the bride.
The flower girls were Abbigail Woolcott, niece of the bride, and Grace Connelly, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Steven Grieco, brother of the groom. The ushers were David Slowinski, cousin of the groom, and Jeff Lysaik, Jason Holmberg and Jeremy Felmet, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was R.J. Woolcott, nephew of the bride. A reception was held in Hearthstone Manor, Depew.
