Stephanie L. Mendillo and Jonathan A. Dobson

Abby Morrel Mendillo of St. Louis, Mo., and James Mendillo of Swansea, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Leigh Mendillo, to Jonathan Arthur Dobson, son of Nancy and Arthur Dobson of Clarence.

Miss Mendillo is a 1997 graduate of John Burroughs School. She received a degree in economics and business from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., in 2001. She works in institutional investments.

Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Canisius High School. He received a degree in finance and entrepreneurship from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2001. He is a foreign exchange trader.

An August 2007 wedding in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Clayton, Mo., is planned.
