Past chiefs elect officers

The Amherst Past Fire Chiefs have elected their officers for the upcoming year.

Richard Aquino of the Swormville Fire Company was elected president. Aquino replaced retiring president and past chief of Eggertsville Hose Ira Striejewske, who served for 15 years as president.

Past Chief Carl Fischer of Main-Transit Fire Department was elected vice president. Past Chief of the Getzville Fire Company Leonard Fiegl was elected secretary and past chief of the Ellicott Creek Fire Company Michael Moore was elected treasurer
