Professor allegedly had child pornography on campus When D'Youville College updated its computer system, employees discovered disturbing files on a professor's computer, according to an FBI spokesman. Amherst resident Philip Michael Gray, 59, was arrested on July 19 and charged with being a recipient and possessing child pornography. The FBI was initially contacted in late May. After analyzing the computer, Gray was arrested at his Autumnview Terrace home last week. According to the spokesman, the warrant was served last week because the FBI had reason to think Gray was planning to leave the area, possibly knowing that he was under suspicion. The spokesman said there were numerous images on the computer. If convicted, Gray could receive a minimum of five years jail time or a maximum of 20 years. |
