Horizon Health Services names appointments

Horizon Health Services, a provider of mental health, behavioral health, chemical dependency, medical and vocational treatment and recovery services in Western New York, has made an appointment to its executive management team and named two new board members.

Lisa Arnet of Williamsville has been appointed senior director of human resources, which includes creating new recruitment and retention strategies, creating employee recognition programs, providing overall strategic leadership to human resources, and developing and implementing policies/procedures and program/services for organizational development.

Formerly an employee benefits consultant for Vanner Insurance Agency and former president of We Care Transportation, she is also a former Horizon board member.

Two Amherst residents were named officers to Horizon boards.

Michael Maxwell has been elected to his first term as vice chair on the Horizon Health Services Board and to his first term as chair on the Horizon Village Board. He is a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP Attorneys.

Dan DiPofi, chief executive officer of Hockey Western New York LLC, was elected to his third term as vice chair on the Health Management Group Board.
