DISTRICT CHAMPS - The Lou Gehrig 15A tournament team defeated Hertel North Park, 12-1, to win the Babe Ruth District 1 championship. The team went 3-0 in the tournament. The win placed Lou Gehrig in the New York State finals in Syracuse.
