Story Time with Miss Beth, 10:30 a.m. Mondays for toddlers and 11:30 a.m. Fridays for ages 3 to 5.

Summer Toddler Time, ages 2 to 3 1/2, 10:30 a.m. Mondays, now through Aug. 13.

Summer Preschool Story Time , ages 3 to 5, 11:30 a.m. Mondays, now through Aug. 13.

Super Sleuth Summer Fun Club, ages 5 to 12, 11 a.m. Wednesdays, now through Aug. 15.

Private I Friday, ages 7 and older, 1 p.m. Friday, July 20. Learn about evidence gathering and fingerprinting with police lieutenant and private investigator Mark Michalek.

Introduction to Microsoft Word for Adults, 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.

Creepy Crawlies: the Miniature World of Insects, 7-8 p.m. Friday, July 20. Presented by the Buffalo Audubon Society.

Amherst Battle of the Books Team is looking for sixththrough ninth-graders to join the team. The event culminates Aug. 4.

Michael Bly Concert, 7 p.m. Monday, July 23.

Hat Day, for ages 2 ½ to 5, 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 24. Wear your favorite hat.

Glenn Colton Concert, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25.

Friday Fun, ages 2 to 5, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25.

Prevention Focus, for ages 5 and up, 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20. Age appropriate lessons to help children "Get a Clue."

Cyber Train, fourth- through eighth-grade, Monday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 25. Focuses on online databases available at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries.

Prevention is Primary, for ages 5 and up, 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 27. Stories and a craft to help children make healthy life choices.

Owls, for all ages, 7 p.m. Monday, July 30 with volunteers from Hawk Creek Wildlife Center will be on hand for demonstrations.

Bob the Builder, for ages 2 to 5, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18.

Getting Ready for College, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18. An admission counselor from a local college will be on hand to advise on the college application process.

Harry Potter, for ages 8 and up, 1 p.m. Friday, July 20.

Scholastic Book Fair, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 27. Books for all ages.

Bedtime Story Time, for ages 2 to 5, 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 23.

Dance-a-Mania, for ages 2 to 5, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25. Stories and a dance lesson.
