Bookstore to hold party for 'Harry Potter'

The seventh and final Harry Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," will be released on July 21 and in preparation, Barnes & Noble, 730 Transit Road, Williamsville, will host special Midnight Magic Costume Party starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 20. At midnight, copies of the book will go on sale.

Participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Harry Potter character for a night of activities, prizes, photo opportunities, items for sale, and more, including a character look-alike contest.

The book will sell for $20.99 which is 40 percent off the list price of $34.99. Barnes & Noble Members can buy the book for $18.89.

The compact disc and audiocassettes for the unabridged book will also be available. Customers can order the book at any Barnes & Noble or B. Dalton store or online at Barnes & Noble.com at www. bn. com/ midnightmagic.
