Family Night planned at Northeast Family YMCA

The Northeast Family YMCA Branch invites families to its first Family Night.

The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 27 at the branch, 4433 Main St., Amherst. Family Night is free for all members and is $5 per family for nonmembers.

Family Night includes swim time, organized games, crafts, and an outdoor movie shown on the front lawn at 8:30 p.m. In the event of rain the event will be held indoors.

"This is the first time we are trying an event like this, with the hopes it will become a regular occurrence," said fitness director Jody Hares. "The Northeast YMCA wants this to be a chance for the whole community to come together, enjoying an affordable night out and experiencing the great things that this YMCA has to offer,"
