Couple receive marriage blessing

Harriet and Richard Herberger of Clarence Center celebrated their 50th anniversary on May 11, 2007 with their family at Salvatore's Italian Garden, Depew.

The celebration continued on Sunday, May 13, 2007 with a marriage blessing at St. Mary's Church, Swormville, where they were married.

Richard Herberger married the former Harriet Zimmerman on May 11, 1957.

Richard has been an active firefighter at Swormville Fire Company. Harriet enjoys gardening and helping people. They both enjoy their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

They have five children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
