Couple to cruise Caribbean

Melissa Ann Gagliardo married Thomas Christopher Smith in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, July 13, 2007 at St. Amelia Church, Tonawanda. The Rev. Kenneth G. Keenan officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Lucy and Donald Gagliardo of Amherst. The groom is the son of Sharon and Thomas Smith of Cheektowaga.

The bride's ivory satin A-line gown featured a crystal-beaded bodice and train.

Marci Gagliardo, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Dawn Miga, the groom's sister, and Colleen Nuedel, Shannon Finn and Kelly Scherer, friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Catherine Miga, niece of the groom, and Brielle Regdos, friend of the bride.

The best man was Michael Gembar, a friend of the groom. Ushers were Peter and Nicholas Gagliardo, cousins of the bride, and Timothy Baumgartner, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Kloc's Grove in West Seneca.

After taking a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Clarence.
