Stacey Butcher and John Roach

Patricia and Larry Butcher of Depew announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Butcher, to John Roach, son of Barbara and John Roach of Batavia.

Miss Butcher graduated from Lancaster High School in 2001. She received a master's degree in speech pathology from the University at Buffalo in 2007. She is a speech pathologist at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, Temple, Texas.

Her fiance graduated from Batavia High School in 2002. He received a bachelor's degree in history and political science from the University at Buffalo in 2007. He is a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

A February 2008 wedding is planned at Unitarian Universalist Church of Amherst.
