Carol and G. Brian Roberts of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Carly Marie Roberts, to Kevin Shaugnessy Klein, son of Mary and William C. Klein of East Amherst.

Miss Roberts graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1997. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from John Carroll University in 2001 and a master's degree in higher education administration from the University at Buffalo in 2007.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville East High School in 1997. He received bachelor's degrees in science and business administration from John Carroll University in 2001. He also received a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in banking and finance from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He is a financial adviser at Merrill Lynch.

A September 2007 wedding is planned at St. Gregory the Great Church.
