Swing sisters, swing

"Sisters of Swing" features Kelly Meg Brennan, Kathy Weese and Debbie Pappas.
The Andrews Sisters will be back in a return engagement of "Sisters of Swing: The Andrews Sisters Musical," on stage June 25-Aug. 11 at MusicalFare Theatre.

The musical offers an insider's view into the personal and private lives of the most successful female group of all time, including the peaks and valleys of their showbiz careers.

Featuring all of their hit songs, including "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree," "Bei Mir Bist du Schon" and many more, "Sisters of Swing" chronicles the group's successful pairings with other recording artists such as Danny Kay, Bing Crosby and others.

The production stars Kelly Meg Brennan, Debbie Pappas and Kathy Weese, and features Philip Farugia and Todd Benzin.

Performances are 7 p.m. Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, and 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays. There are no Sunday performances during this summer production. There will be a special half-price preview at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after Wednesday performances, except opening night, July 25.

Tickets are $34 for Friday and Saturday evening performances and $30 for Wednesday and Thursday evenings and 4 p.m. Saturday performances, and are available by calling 839-8540.
