Williamsville Junior Football to hold information sessions

Boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 13 who reside in the Town of Amherst or the Williamsville, Amherst or Sweet Home school districts can try out for the Williamsville Junior Football and Cheerleading teams.

The league was founded in 1965 and is the oldest sanctioned football league in Amherst. Williamsville Junior Football is a member of the Niagara Youth Football League (NYFL). All football games are played locally against NYFLteams, with home games played at the Amherst Pepsi Center.

Open information sessions for football and regular-season cheerleading will be taking place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 14. The session is at the Bob Jones Field House at the Amherst Pepsi Center, 1615 Amherst Manor Dr.
