Fastbreak Lacrosse Camp to continue tradition of excellence

Entering its ninth year, Fastbreak Lacrosse Camp is offering two camps this summer, a youth camp for boys and girls ages 4 to 7 years old and the camp's traditional and highly successful boys camp for ages 8 to 18. Both camps are sponsored by STX Lacrosse.

Youth camp

The youth camp will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, July 23 to Thursday, July 26. The camp is for young Western New York lacrosse players who will have fun learning the game from the region's best teachers and coaches. The goal is to make sure each youngster has fun while learning the basics skills of the game. The cost is $85.

Boys camp

Fastbreak is one of the last remaining five-day lacrosse camps in the country and one of the only five-day camps under $300.

Fastbreak has become nationally recognized for their commitment not only to the "lacrosse player" but also stressing academic success as well as becoming a well-rounded citizen. Fastbreak is a sponsor of the Western New York Lacrosse for Kids Foundation (helping lacrosse families in need) with several proceeds during the week of camp going to this charity.

Fastbreak provide quality lectures, team-building activities and having the finest certified coaches on staff.

Campers are organized by age and ability for position work and in teams for competition. Every athlete, regardless of skill level, receives top-notch instruction and individualized attention from the staff. Campers will walk away with authentic Fastbreak game shorts, T-shirt, reversible game jersey, STX posters, STX lanyard and STX water bottle, with many free giveaways and raffles items as well.

The boys camp will be held from Sunday, July 22 to Thursday, July 26.
