Williamsville native Terry Zeh signed a contract extension to stay Canisius College women's basketball coach through the 2010-11 season.

Zeh has compiled a 55-35 overall record and a 36-18 mark in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference games. He is ranked fourth in career wins, second in wins against MAAC rivals and is the first coach in program history to lead Canisius to the MAAC Tournament.

The Howard and Sandy Voss Memorial Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, Aug. 20 at Glen Oak Golf Course, 711 Smith Road, East Amherst.

Registration and lunch are at 11 a.m. with the tournament starting at noon. Dinner, awards and basket raffles are scheduled for 5 p.m.

The cost is $150 per player or $525 per foursome. Dinner only is $50. All proceeds will go toward Meals on Wheels of WNY.

The Bennett High School Sports Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for 2007, who will enter the hall at 4 p.m. Saturday Oct. 6 in a ceremony at the school auditorium.

Tickets are available at the Main St. front door for $20 and includes refreshments and a souvenir program.

This year's inductees are athletes Michael Austin (Class of 1978), Vory Billups ('84), Levance Brown ('71), Mary Evanco-Caryk ('76), Theresa Friol ('81), Marvin Hemphill ('84), Lee Jones ('48), Robert Jones ('90), Roger Lowe ('51), Vincent McCarthy (''79), Bruce Mesches ('64), Special Achievement Award winner Art Serotte ('57), Earle Hannel Memorial Award recipient Emery Fisher ('45), and Girls' Sports Pioneers Karen Carr ('73), Kathleen Carr ('73), and Tamiko Thompson ('73).
