CSEA endorses Keane for county exec

The Civil Service Employees Association has endorsed James Keane in the Democratic primary for county executive.

The union, which represents public employees throughout Erie County and New York, met with several county executive candidates, including formal interviews of the candidates by Erie County Local 815's Political Action Committee.

"Jim Keane will work to end the mismanagement that has plagued Erie County for the last eight years," said Flo Tripi, CSEA Western Region president. "His government and labor experience make him the best candidate for county executive."

Keane said he agrees with the CSEA that strong economic development partnered with a strong county workforce will help revitalize the community.
