Andrew Grimone and Colleen M. Birkemeier

Deborah and Kevin Birkemeier of Orchard Park announce the engagement of their daughter, Colleen Marie Birkemeier, to Andrew Grimone, son of Carole and Michael Grimone of Emporium, Pa.

Miss Birkemeier is a 1999 graduate of West Seneca West High School. She received a bachelor's degree in health science in 2003, and a master's degree in physician assistant studies at Gannon University in Erie, Pa., in 2004. She is a physician assistant at St. Vincent Neurosurgery in Erie.

She is associated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Her fiance is a 1993 graduate of Cameron County High School in Emporium, Pa. He received a doctoral degree in pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999. He is a clinical pharmacist/ clinical manager at Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pa.

He is associated with the Pennsylvania Society of Hospital Pharmacists.

An October 2007 wedding is planned.
