Fireworks display held at reception

Betsy Elaine Connelly married Karl Franz Bargmann in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 7, 2007 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Orchard Park. The Rev. Dennis Conrad officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Elaine and James Connelly of Orchard Park. The groom is the son of Mary Ellen and Franz Bargmann Jr. of Hamburg.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory strapless gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice and cathedral-length train. She wore a fingertip-length veil, and carried a bouquet of ivory and pink roses with lisianthus.

Pia Musielak, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Zoe, Callahan and Corinne O'Dell, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.

Brian Mampe, friend of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Daniel Boland and Lucas Fitzgerald, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Aidan Buirley and Gavin O'Dell, cousins of the bride.

A reception was held at the Orchard Park Country Club with a display of fireworks at nightfall.

The couple will be at home in Orchard Park after a honeymoon in Aruba.
