Meetings scheduled for July 14-29 The Buffalo Niagara Partnership and the First Niagara Bank will sponsor Horizons 2007, an on-site home show, from Saturday, July 14 through Sunday, July 29. The event will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Lake Forest Subdivision in Amherst. Participating builders will include Bielmeier Builders, David Homes, Essex Homes, Forbes-Capretto Homes, M.J. Peterson/Tucker Homes, Natale Homes, Patrick Homes and Richard Bergman/Heartland Homes. BNAR hosts 'Suitcases for Kids' The Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors is collecting "Suitcases for Kids" during the month of July. The group is asking for new or gently used suitcases, backpacks and duffel bags for foster children who normally carry their belongings in plastic bags. Donations will be accepted at the following locations: BNAR offices at 100 Sylvan Parkway, Amherst; Hunt Real Estate, 4363 Main St., Amherst, and 485 Sunset Drive, Hamburg; M.J Peterson Real Estate, 526 South Transit Road, Lockport; and Realty USA, 174 Slade Ave., West Seneca. Retired teachers sought for Erie County The Erie County Lifelong Learning Consortium is seeking retired teaching faculty willing to volunteer to present a one-hour lecture or to teach a short course for students age 60 and older.
