Friday final day for brush pickup

The final day for brush pickup in Amherst will be Friday, July 6. Highway Superintendent Bob Anderson said all roads in the town have been covered including state and county roads.

Any remaining brush can be taken to the Amherst compost facility on Smith Road, can be placed in containers or put in 4-foot tied bundles for weekly trash pickup.
